As an Acquisitions and Facilities Coordinator you will contribute to the implementation of the approved business plan for the real-estate area of the business across Ireland and the UK.
Working with the Acquisitions and Facilities Manager you will be involved in managing the existing estate of stores as well as assisting with our plans to expand the number of stores in both countries.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the real estate industry and is looking for a varied role with an opportunity to grow with the business. The role will include the following:
Lease Contract Administration
- Act as contact person for lessors, building administrators and developers.
- Participate in the analysis and verification of new lease contracts, or annex's to lease contracts.
- Register, file and follow up all lease contracts
- Participate in the budget process for all lease contracts.
- Inspect and evaluate lease invoices and service charge accounts from lessors.
Facility Management
- Administer repair requests from stores to ensure operational impacts are kept to a minimum
- Arrange for repairs and maintenance in a cost effective manner
- Arrange and record inspections in line with building regulations
- Administer planned preventative building maintenance
Electricity, Heating, Waste Management and other current expenses
- Participate actively in monitoring consumption of electricity, heating, water in the stores.
- Participate actively in waste management agreements and follow up of the area.
- Make enhancement suggestions and define investment needs within the real-estate area.
- Participate in the budget/costs follow-up on the above real-estate account.
- Continuously control and administer receipts for current expenses.
Project Management: Building of new stores and renovation of current stores
- Tasks include contact to building administrators and lessors, participation in and follow-up on building projects.
- Participate in the efforts to minimize property costs when rebuilding stores and building new stores.
- Ensure the internal communication of information and data in case of store alterations.
Store Building Activity
- Monitor and procure all required legal and official licenses/permits upon direction.
- Supervise building projects in order to ensure that JYSK standards are observed.

- Have experience working in a real estate role and/or qualification

- Are a logical thinker with analytical mindset
- Are result - oriented and can make decision
- Have experience in working with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel)
- Speak and write fluently in English
- Have a full driving licence
