We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Co. Louth, Ireland. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries and purchases
Provide expert product knowledge and advice to help customers make informed decisions
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain a tidy and well-organised sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked
Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing merchandise in both the warehouse and sales floor
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high customer satisfaction levels
Participate in regular stock takes and inventory management tasks
Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
Physical capability to handle merchandise and stand for extended periods
Basic numeracy skills for processing transactions and managing stock levels
Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain a tidy work environment
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
Initiative to identify and resolve issues independently
Enthusiasm for sales and ability to meet targets
Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
